CCC＝China Compulsory Certification
|What is the China Compulsory Certification System (CCC)?
China Compulsory Certification System. A standard aimed at safety protection and environmental protection in China. After obtaining CCC certification for the applicable product, it is mandatory to affix the CCC mark. Products subject to CCC certification are listed in the " List of Products for Implementation of CCC " issued by State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA).
SAMR and CNCA irregularly update the target items on their homepages.
Although it is a certification system, "self-declaration" is possible for some products.
Please note that certification is required for explosion-proof products.
|Scope of Administration
A product administered under the Chinese Compulsory Certification system is required to bear the CCC mark when imported or sold in China. The mark is not required for components of a product. This means that if a product otherwise subject to the requirement is imported to or sold in China as a component of another product (device), the CCC mark is not required. The mark is required only when a product is imported to or sold in China as a separate item
